Earlier this week, Cody Simpson hinted that he might be dropping an album some time this year! He took to Instagram and said, “We’re gonna make some music this year, I’ve known a life before this and it was pretty, but it ended early. Just foolish and exploring the truths. It’s funky time 2016.”
A couple of days later on Thursday, Cody once again took to Instagram and gave a sneak peak of one of his tracks. He posted a black and white video of a recording studio computer with the caption, “ITS REALLY SOMETHIN WHEN THE FEELS RIGHT.”

While Cody made no mention of Niall Horan, One Direction fans were quick to point out that Niall’s voice can be heard in the recording. If the two are working on something together, it certainly wouldn’t come as a surprise since they have been friends for a while now!
