Lacey Evans is an American professional wrestler who is signed with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) where she performs for one of its brands Raw under her ring name Lacey Evans. Before she got into the limelight of fame as Lacey with a fierce personality inside the wrestling ring, she had first served as a military officer in the U.S Marines where she encountered her first few training after she was introduced to wrestling through a staff sergeant who invited her to a show and later booked her to wrestle him at the main event. She trained on the independent circuit in Georgia. In 2016, she began working for WWE during which she was assigned to their NXT development territory. After feuding with Kairi Sane in NXT, she finally debuted on Raw in December 2018 and later feuded with wrestling champ, Becky Lynch.
On January 7, 2019, she booked a dark match against Natalya but lost. She then made her official main roster debut at the Royal Rumble and entered the women’s Royal Rumble match at number 1 which lasted for 29 minutes, defeating The IIconics before she lost to Charlotte Flair. Following her defeat in a match against Flair, she started appearing more frequently on WWE’s brands Raw, SmackDown, and pay-per-views wherein she would interrupt segments and matches by walking out on stage, waving to the audiences, and leaving the ring afterward. She was drafted to Raw as part of the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-Up and was assigned in her first feud on the main roster after continuously attacking SmackDown Women’s Champion, Becky Lynch. On May 19, 2019, a rematch took place but Evans lost via submission.
